City Beautiful. GNMAA
Chicago’s natural beauty and iconic urban landscape inspire the annual Tulips on the Magnificent Mile Campaign, where activities, art and flowers converge to illuminate the vision set forth by 19th-century architect and urban planner Daniel Burnham. This springtime event is known for a series of architect-designed sculptures that reinterpret North Michigan Avenue. The main graphic features bright pink tulips set against the stark silhouette of the Hancock Building, home of a Tulips Flower Market in early May. Our comprehensive imaging and communications campaign sets the tone for the celebration and included a city information panel, street pole banners, a map, e-blasts, garden signs and promotional member offers.
